Part 1 – Commonly asked questions regarding BODY BIOTICSâ„¢

Published by at 10:46 am under Common Questions

Over the next three weeks we thought it would be helpful to address some of the most commonly asked questions regarding BODY BIOTICS™.  Whether you are currently on the product or considering getting started, it is key to understand the importance of taking and staying on a good probiotic, such as BODY BIOTICS™ PREBIOTIC/PROBIOTIC SBO CONSORTIA™. Many customers reach out to us with excellent questions regarding why our product stands out among its competitors, how it works and more. We will outline some of the more commonly asked questions and answers in this three part series.

What makes Body Biotics different from other Probiotics?

Body Biotics are encapsulated in a proprietary primal food source of humic and fulvic acid and therefore contain both Prebiotics and Probiotics. They are a natural consortia of soil based organisms. They are dormant and come alive and thrive once mixed with an aqueous solution.  They are not freeze dried like many products on the market, nor do they require refrigeration. Additionally, BODY BIOTICS™ has been time tested as it has been on the market for more than 30 years, formally under the name Nature Biotics™. Despite the name change, it is the same formula that customers from way back have used and trusted.

Why don’t I need to keep Body Biotics in the refrigerator?

It is important to understand that most probiotics are separated from their food source. They are considered alive and active which means as with any life form, they are also dying. Refrigeration retards the dying process, providing greater longevity. This is why many companies require or suggest refrigeration or use some sort of coating to protect the organisms. Our product is alive and thriving in its own natural food source, but rendered dormant until activated by saliva, juice or water.  Therefore, refrigeration is not required for greater longevity.

Why do you call your Probiotics an SBO Probiotics Consortia?

All Probiotics originate from the soil. In nature, they are found in teams of multiple strains, known as a consortia.  Most manufacturers isolate each individual strain and remove them from their natural environment, then culture them individually on some form of growth medium to produce them in large numbers of colony forming units (known as CFUs). They are then freeze dried for future use. While this process works to multiply the organisms by the billions, it does not necessarily produce strong, healthy and hardy strains because they have been removed from their symbiotic relationship with nature and each other.

In contrast, Body Biotics preserves the integrity of nature by culturing a selected, proven, safe group of organisms, (consortia) in their natural primal food source ( a plant-based growth host medium of humic and fulvic acids, vitamins, and trace minerals). These organisms , over a period of time, are nourished and trained to work in harmony (symbiotic relationship) with each other for the ultimate benefit of the human body. Once they are mature, this process creates a super breed of organisms that are then naturally dehydrated (never freeze dried) and encapsulated in this same food source in which they were cultured. Because they are never removed from their food source, they are always alive and thriving.

Why do I need to continue taking probiotics? Don’t they reproduce?

As it relates to soil based organisms – lifestyle, diet, environment, medical history, genetics, etc., can all affect the SBO’s ability to implant and reproduce. Generally speaking, everyone’s health is better served by supplementing our intestinal  flora on a daily basis. Additionally, nature did not intend for these organisms to take up residence inside the human body, thus the soil based components of BODY BIOTICS™ are transient.  They serve the body for about 72 hours and then are eliminated. They need to be constantly replaced, as they would be if our normal food supply still contained these life giving organisms.

What time of day is best to take Body Biotics?

BODY BIOTICS â„¢ can be taken at anytime. However, for maximum results we recommend taking it 20 to 30 minutes before a meal because the solid food helps drag the organisms further down the intestinal tract, thus improving efficacy.

Stay tuned until next week when we address more commonly asked questions!

Until then,
